Function Space (www.functionspace.org), a social learning network for Science and Technology, today announced the launch of a unique library section on the platform to help students of under-graduate level in learning science. The platform offers a ‘one-stop’ solution for learning science on the web, where different levels of knowledge coexist, interact and help each other.

Sakshi Majmudar, Founder, Function Space explains the new section, “The ‘Library’ sectionincorporates amazing tools specially designed to help users from high school and graduate level in science and engineering colleges. The resources in the Library section include books, video lectures, discussions, articles and science tools like – equation caller, editor, computational engine etc. Both teachers and students from colleges and other academic institutions can interact with the best brains in the industry and find solutions to the most complex problems. They can not only learn science but also network with students as well as professors from MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Caltech, Cornell, Berkeley, UCLA, IITs, IISc, and various other prestigious universities from over 190 countries.”

Speaking on the first of its kind global learning network for Science, Technology and Mathematics,Sumit Maniyar, graduate from IIT Bombay and Co-Founder, Function Space said, “Function Space was established with a singular objective - when people think of science, they should think of Function Space! That is what we aim to be five years down the line. With continuous innovation, we will endeavour to add more sophisticated tools for Science which have never existed on web before and will make science learning affordable and effective. The content on our portal is not course/syllabus centric but is designed to enable life-time learning.”

Currently, there is no e-platform to discuss, learn and network in the field of science learning. We are constantly upgrading our tailor made tools for Science including LaTeX integrated platform, LMS for personalization and interactive visualization to make learning science insightful and analytical.”,reiterated Adit Gupta, Founder, Function Space.

Function Space will soon be launching Android and iOS native apps as well as update the digital destination with many need based and interest based features. More recently, Function Space has also received seed funding from Nexus Venture Partners.
