ITM University conducts Management Development Programme on Finance Skills

ITM University, Gurgaon recently conducted a one-day Management Development Programme on ‘Finance Skills for Non-Finance Professionals’ with the aim of equipping managers with financial and accounting skills.
 



The programme is especially designed to provide basic functional knowledge on the concepts of accounting and finance for non-finance professionals. It touched upon topics including Financial and Managerial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Contemporary Developments in Accounting & Finance, and the use of financial data in decision-making.

The aim of programme is to provide a better understanding of the basic nuances of finance and accounting to executives who do not have a background in the same. Today managers in every field require to have a basic knowledge of all the domains so that they can address any challenge efficiently,” said Prof B S Panwar, Vice Chancellor, ITM University.


The programme was attended by a large number of industry and research scholars from varied backgrounds.

ITM University regularly conducts such executive programmes in various disciplines such as engineering, management and law, customized to meet the needs of executives and professionals working in global companies and organizations.

The aim of the part-time and short courses is to provide working professionals a chance to learn on-the-go. It is an effective way to enhance learning, expand access to latest know-how relevant to professions. It also helps executives face new challenges, accelerate their career path or explore new ventures.
